Pat and James discuss the pains of subjectivity and some possible ways to embrace it, perhaps even use it to your advantage.

In a business where we depend—a lot—on the goodwill and love of gatekeepers and the audience for what we create, we rarely know what will resonate or why a specific creative effort isn’t finding acceptance or its audience (as Pat says, its vibe tribe). In other words, we all have to accept, navigate, and figure out how to thrive with a ton of: Subjectivity.
